God is coming to break down the walls that block you

God is coming to break in through your defences, the defences that you put up when things didn’t go well and you vowed to never let that happen to you again. But the defences then blocked you and isolated you from the very thing you needed - some kindness and compassion, some way to sooth the wound and take away the embarrassment. 

He cares so much though that he doesn’t want to hurt you by barging in that he is simply standing nearby and knocking. If your defences to protect yourself was a wall with a door, he is knocking on the door. You didn’t realise by your defences that you put up, they have a door handle that can be opened by the Lord on the other side, because he is God, he can break down the very things you have made in your own strength. 

He can open the door and take away the barrier, the very ones you made that seem to trap you. It has felt like for the longest time, that you set this thing up so well that you don’t have the key anymore to unlock the door yourself. It is ok though, God is there and he is standing ready, he has come just for you and he can open that door and remove the blockage, the wall of defence that surrounds you and prevents you from having what you need in relationship with him.
