God is moving you into position
Deb Peacock
At this time you might be feeling out of line or out of place. It might be like you have lost your place or like movement is happening to you and you have no control over it. There are significant shifts happening all over, some might be minor and yet have huge ramifications for you and some might be major and yet have smaller ramifications of what that means. Some changes are happening in a way that is out of left field, you didn’t see it coming. It might even be feeling like personal rejection.
This is a season of alignment and so there is opportunity for each of us to come into alignment with God, and therefore into right alignment with others and our place in the world. While some of the things happening are wrong and hurtful, I believe God will be using these to position us more rightly with him.
When movement or change comes upon you suddenly, is communicated in a hurtful way or you are now without something you’ve had for a long time, our heart and feelings can be hurt and affected. It is in this place that we will be tempted to react in a way that then prevents us and blocks us from moving into line with the Lord and moving on ahead, progressing forward.
Don’t allow the situations, the difficult conversations, the rejection, to cause you to react in rejection, anger, bitterness or judgement. Take your experience to God who cares for you. Tell him all about it. Get the care you need amidst the change and sometimes hurtful change.
Because of this season of alignment God will be taking every difficult and wrong movement or shift and turning it for good for you. Will you surrender your heart again to the Lord amidst the turmoil and pain and allow him to turn this difficulty into good for you to be positioned rightly and ready for the more of him?
The alignment with him is happening by him, and for him. He is the one who will reposition you and place you where you need to be. Our part in this is surrender to him and let him. Take our heart to him and open it wide letting him see everything that is in it and letting him speak and heal in it too. Then we are available and willing for his good work and movement of us where he will put us into place.
The alignment by the Lord and with the Lord will be something not yet experienced - very new. It is hard or impossible to imagine, without revelation from the Lord because he is indeed doing a very new thing. It will though be where we are not only aligned with the Lord in a beautiful way where we connect with him more and live from God everyday, but it will mean we align more closely with others who are surrendered to him.
We will truly be part of the body of Christ and Jesus will be the head of us all. We will be free to bring our part that is orchestrated and led by God and it will be valued and crucial for the body to function well. You are needed and you are valued. Through you coming as you are in line with Jesus, you will bring witness to God and he will receive the glory he deserves.
So in this messy season where things happen that are shocking or taking you by surprise, don’t react but run to the Father. Tell him all about it and wait for his word to you in this. He knows what is going on and he knows how to tell you about it and he knows how to look after you through the changes.
Ezekiel 37:7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.
Ezekiel 37:1-7 The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’ So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.
Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
