God is raising you up
Deb Peacock
God is raising up his people all across the earth. He isn’t raising up a select few, he is raising us up into a people who will stand firm on what we believe, not be shaken by the questions and challenges and accusations that might come. He says he is raising - so if you don’t feel steady yet, don’t feel strong yet it is ok as it is a process with him. He is about doing a work that will raise you up. You will stand firm, you will feel solid ground of him being your rock underneath your feet. You will be able to stare back in the face of accusation and not agree with it. You will be able to remain present without running away, without hiding and without shrinking.
The Lord is putting his strength in you. While the times right now feel as though you are using all the strength you have, you are being strengthened, not just in being determined and being able to endure but also in being able to keep your mind focused on the truth. There is a battle of the mind at play in this time. It is like an assault that comes to pull down every good true thought you have tried to think. It might be causing you to think you have no idea what you are doing, that nothing makes sense and so you have no idea what to do. All that is required in this time is to hold on to Jesus. He is your vision, he is you true north direction and he has the power to take you there. Hold onto him and you will see that the words he has spoken over you will come to pass, and that it is he who will coordinate it all into being.
Holding onto Jesus will move you into a dependence which is solid. Just like we feel stable when there is rock under our feet and we can stand steady. Confusion and chaos are not from the Lord, but when that seems to be all around, hold onto Jesus for he sees straight through it at all times.
You are being raised up and you will join with others who also know what it is like to hold on through it all and come to stand firm on the rock. The Lord cares about you so much that he is doing this for you. His strength is for you. He is the rock for you.
Deuteronomy 32:4
He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.
Matthew 7:25
And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.
Psalm 40:2
He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay,
And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.
1 Peter 5:6
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time.
