In the waiting, your faith is being developed.
You are called, you are chosen.

We’re in an intense time right now, and it’s been going on for a while. You might have been holding onto promises that God has spoken and started to feel here, there, everywhere with them. Some days you are faith filled and believing and other days you’re wondering if you got it wrong. God’s promises still stand. As we wait we develop our faith. Because as we wait we move further into the realm of it doesn’t look like it is happening and all the proofs and evidence of it might be seemingly taken away.
What you are called to by the Lord is beyond you. It is a wonderful adventure that is empowered by Holy Spirit. You can only go there with faith - where you believe and trust in the Lord to work in your life and in the sphere you are in. Because you are called to be part of something beyond you and you will see God do miraculous things. But this requires us to step out in faith.
So in the waiting, the faith is developed. Don’t despise the waiting but see it is as training of your faith muscles. You will require big faith muscles in the future and will see more wonderful work of the Lord.
Just like if you want to run a marathon, you will train for a long time and build up your endurance and fitness, or if you want to be able to lift a certain weight in your strength training, you will gradually build up your strength. The marathon event is not only about the day, it is about all the training and learning that has gone before it as well. This is our journey with God, it isn’t about being on hold now and then one day we get to be in our calling. We are exercising it and in the process of living it out right now and we will have breakthrough that is beautiful but it is not a stand alone event or season by itself, it is simply the next phase of the journey. A marathon runner is not a marathon runner only on the day of the event. They are this from the moment they accept the word marathon runner and begin to live as though they are. Yet the training phase is so critical for where they go.
You are called by God, you have names over your life. Once you agree and begin living as though you are this, the waiting is all part of the journey of living as who you are. Perhaps we should stop saying we are waiting and start saying we are training and trusting.
You are chosen. You are called. You have been given love, power and wisdom. You are walking out your life journey with the Lord.
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. John 15:16
Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. 1 Corinthians 16:13
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7
