A new dawn has come

Deb Peacock

For some people at this time the Lord is speaking over you, “a new dawn has come.”

While I was in worship at church, I saw large wooden double doors gently and gradually open. As in Psalm 24, where we are referred to as gates and doors, I knew the doors represented a person. The doors were opening slowly and the sun was rising directly across from them and beautiful warm rays of light were shining in through the opening. The sun was the son and it was a new dawn, a breakthrough of the morning. A breakthrough of the mourning.

A new dawn has come on your life and it comes just as the sun rises - gradually, gently but beautiful and something to behold. As the breakthrough emerges for you, it is something to behold and a sight of awe. The Lord in his goodness is shining on you with his warm light, warming your soul and gently reviving you in the deep places. Hold fast to watch the dawn so you can bear witness to the wonderful work he is doing in you and bringing into you.

Take note that the sun rises gradually so there is a continual change of beauty but it is at a pace you can absorb and keep up with. It is not like a sudden pull back of the blockout curtain which causes you to feel blinded and cover your eyes in shock.

And the doors just opened. There was no pushing on the door, no special key to unlock, not even a turning of the door knob, they, just, opened. They opened from the joint agreement of the person behind and the God in front. A unity of ‘yes’ to have God’s son come in with a new dawn. For the person it began with a choice of faith, a yes to Jesus. For Jesus it was always a yes.

What a sight to behold - a beautiful deep work of the Lord to break forth through love. Bless

Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Psalms 24:7

But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves. Malachi 4:2

You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead; you spared me from going down to the pit. Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people; praise his holy name. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Psalms 30:3-5
