Get into position and prophesy to the breath!
Deb Peacock
God is raising up the Body of Christ now as the army of the Lord where we are ready for the battles and wars. The Body of Christ is called to action. He will bring the victory for he is the head of the army. The battles will be won like those of Joshua where the army simply did what they were instructed, They did odd things that would be seen as absurd and laughable but they were ushering in the power of Holy Spirit, the ruach breath. It was God who brought the victory for the army over and over again, but he did it in all different ways and it required complete obedience from the army.
We are in a time of Ezekiel 37 on all levels, personally, as the local church, and as the Body of Christ across the world. In Ezekiel 37, the body comes together first where the bones and body parts are aligned together.
The second part was to prophesy to the Breath. The breath to bring resurrection, revival and empowerment. The breath comes in through the mouth. It is head of the body, it is God as the head of the body and God’s breath that comes after the body is aligned together. As the breath comes, the army of the Lord is raised up. Jesus is the only true God and leader and is the head of us, as his people. All spaces at all levels are to reflect a body coming together in unity under the Lord.
The battles we encounter are won by the Lord as he is our head and it is under him we serve. We operate with his empowerment, his perspective, his mind and strategy. We need to be fully submitted to the will and direction of the Lord.
Leadership must come together in every space and commit to the expression given by the Lord where it operates as a body under the Lord who is the head. This is not a time for lone rangers and no longer will we get by leading or operating as lone rangers.
The Body of Christ is being called to action.
For a person to function well, the head or the brain directs the body parts on what to do. Each body part has a different set of functions and all together the person can live well. If a part is not operating as it is designed and directed, a person might be sick and/or might not be able to function well.
God has chosen to work with people. He is the head of the Body of Christ. He is the one with the strategy, the brains of all that needs to happen and able to direct each part in what to do. While this is great for us knowing we don’t have to have every step worked out ahead of time, it does mean we are called to action.
We are not idle people. We are people of faith and faith is active, it is action. While sometimes the action might be to wait - we must remember that waiting is not idle or passive. It is alert, committed, persevering and ready to move at the right time.
If we want the offered things of God to come to pass, we need to not only believe him to bring it about but we need to believe it so much that we are willing to take action that God tells us based on that belief.
God is pulling the bones together into the body (Ezekiel 37) and as we prophesy the empowerment to come we must be willing to action our faith according to God’s word. Otherwise empowerment on us either being idle or taking wrong action will achieve nothing. Get into position and prophesy to the breath!
