God is turning the tables

What once held power over you and was a battle to keep on facing, will now become under you as you laugh in victory.

Today while worshipping at church I saw a huge crack appear in the earth and gold liquid that was like thick lava began erupting out of the crack. It began moving forth as lava does, calmly but purposefully moving outwards to cover everything in its way. It was the move of God and unleashing of his glory across the earth.

But then I realised, it is to come and cover all that is clean and clear before the Lord and I began to pray for us that God would cleanse and make us clear. This went on for some time as a battle of sorts facing the dark and wrong but I sensed Jesus beside me and we were working together.

I remembered reading Jude 1 this morning and pulled out the verse, “the Lord rebuke you” to see through the victory. But Jesus nudged me from the side indicating no, this is not that. This is in your authority with me. And so I began to speak, “in Jesus’ name, in Jesus’ name,” and then “now, now, in Jesus’ name.” It is time for it to be done and gone in Jesus’ name.

After quite a time, suddenly there was a shift and I began to laugh in a sudden sense of authority and victory. What had held power and seemed to be above and over me now was conquered and defeated under me. What had caused me concern now was something I could laugh about. It came with a joy, a newfound sense of excitement and energy, a coming to life.

I believe God is saying that as we continue in the battles we are facing and do it with Jesus beside us, partnering with Jesus, we will see a turning of the tables. Where we have felt intimidated and under the looming power of something greater than us, we will laugh in victory as it is now under our feet. As we walk the day to day battles with Jesus we grow and learn about our authority in him and will move into victory.

Victory in Jesus name!

In this victory place I began to experience a freedom and excitement, a coming to life within. The glory of God. God is so good and he not only has victory but he has celebration of it for us too. Blessings!

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. Genesis 50:20

I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. Luke 10:19

The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deuteronomy 31:8
