Are you desperate to connect with God’s answer to your struggle?

God’s word to you is a living thing. It comes in, often largely unknown and because it is alive it works within you, helping you step by step to come into understanding what he is meaning. Often we don’t really know what he might even be saying. It is like sensing he is the answer for us but it is just beyond our reach. If only we could reach a tiny bit further we could grasp it. 

Sometimes we hear the words he says to us and then wonder how that is even relevant to what we have asked of him. We are yet to understand it. 

The words are living and so they move within and change us, transform us inside so we can come into his perspective and see truth. 

A bit like having a seed put in the ground and with good conditions, that seed will sprout and grow into something, we need to receive God’s word and tend to it within us, allowing it to be alive and active, making its mark in us and bringing us into perceiving his truth. 

As you agreeing with what the Lord is speaking to you and waiting on him, allowing his word to do its work in you? 

Take the word, the verses in the bible he gives you and meditate on them, pray for Holy Spirit to illuminate the meaning of these words for you and wait on him. He loves you and he is the way for you.

Romans 12:2 … be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to the dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 

Luke 8:11 This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. 

Luke 8:15 But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a good crop.
